After retiring from a local law enforcement agency in Sacramento California after 20 years of
service, I decided that I wanted to switch gears and venture into a new career challenge.  After conducting several months of research, I discovered the business of transportation specifically in independent and dependent adult services.  I discovered that California Alta Regional Center had a large base of clients and was responsible for a large percentage of the transportation services for them... I decided that this was a challenge that I wanted to pursue.  I was invited to attend a seminar to regards of the process.  Part of the process was to present a business proposal that was reviewed by the Transportation Coordinator who approved or disapproved the proposal.  Once my proposal was eventually approved, I completed the additional process and began the business.
